Yvonnes' Date Balls

Yvonnes' Date Balls

Ingredients:

3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 beaten egg
1 cup chopped dates

Place all of the above in a heavy saucepan.
Cook for 5 minutes,until thick, stirring often.

Cool a bit.

Add 1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups Rice Krispies

Mix well.
Cool ......more!

Form into "1-inch" balls, with buttered hands.

Roll in Graham Cracker crumbs.
Store in refrigerator, in cookie tin.

The number you get, depends on the size you roll these.
I have found about 1 inch balls works good!
